FAQ

Frequently asked questions about Shoalhaven and South Coast

Anything not covered here, the office answers on 1800 572 878 during business hours.

Do you fence schools on the South Coast?

Yes. LS Fencing Services installed more than 900 lineal metres of pressed spear fencing at Budawang School, and school sites along the coast are regular work. Crimp top tubular in black powder coat is the usual choice because it secures the boundary without looking industrial.

Can you build sports enclosures such as cricket nets and tennis courts?

Yes. The cricket nets at Royal Artie Smith Oval in Bomaderry and the tennis court enclosures at Callala Bay are both LS Fencing Services jobs. Sports enclosures use chainwire in custom heights up to 3600mm, galvanised or PVC coated.

Do you work on Defence and council sites in the Shoalhaven?

Yes. Defence, council and school sites along the coast are regular work, with SWMS, inspection and test plans and inductions handled under the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 systems.

How far is the Shoalhaven from your base?

Nowra, Bomaderry, Ulladulla, Callala Bay and the South Coast are a short run from the Unanderra head office, so site walks and mobilisation are straightforward and crews work from base rather than staying away.

Does the coast change the specification?

Salt air means hot-dip galvanised steel as a minimum, with PVC coated chainwire and polyester powder coat for exposed sites. Where the specification allows it, the finish is chosen for the exposure, not just the look.
