Privacy Policy

LS Fencing Services Pty Ltd (ABN 12 646 464 977) is a commercial fencing contractor based in Unanderra, New South Wales. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you enquire with us or apply for a job, how we use it, and how you can have it corrected or removed. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry or quote form: your name, phone number, email address, company, the site suburb and the details you give us about the job.
When you apply for a position: your name, contact details, the position you are applying for and the experience you describe.
When you call us: your phone number and the details you give us about your enquiry.
When you visit this website: standard technical information such as the pages you view and general device information.
When we quote or carry out work for you: site addresses, drawings, specifications and the records the work requires.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
To carry out, document and invoice the work you engage us for.
To assess job applications.
To keep the records that commercial construction work and our ISO management systems require.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles it

Some of our systems are run by service providers on our behalf: The Agency Alternative, who build and host this website and route its enquiry forms; the email and telephony providers that deliver enquiries to us; and Google, for our Business Profile. These providers may store information outside Australia and are required to keep it secure and use it only to deliver their service to us.

Keeping it secure, and how long we hold it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Enquiry records are kept only as long as we need them, and project records for as long as the law and our certifications require.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@lsfencingservices.com.au or call 1800 572 878. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and the date at the top.
